  13. Can anyone help a friend of mine who has a problem with an A1200 and an
  14. M1438S monitor?
  15. What happens is that after about 45 minutes of use some areas of the
  16. screen start to show a ghosted image displaced by about half an inch from
  17. the real image. More of these ghosted images appear the longer the machine
  18. is left on. The images only appear when using DblPAL and Productivity
  19. modes but no others. Nothing is running on the machine apart from the
  20. Workbench. The only way to clear the problem is to switch off the A1200
  21. for several minutes. Just powering off and on again immediately does not
  22. get rid of these images.
  23. Any idea what might be at fault? A1200? Monitor? Memory corruption? One of
  24. the custom chips?
  25. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
